About Us
Welcome
We're so glad you are here!
We are Christine and Georgia, former K-12 educators and the founders of Making the Grade Project. With extensive experience in both K-12 and higher education, we specialize in executive function coaching, professional development, curriculum design, and teacher preparation.
Over the years, we’ve helped hundreds of teacher candidates pass their MTELs, uncovering the glaring inequities and critical gaps in traditional teacher preparation programs—especially for those who speak English as a second language or identify as having a disability.
Through partnerships with like-minded organizations, we are dedicated to breaking down barriers in education and empowering educators to thrive in certification exams, inclusive teaching practices, and classroom success.
We'd love to work with you.
It is our mission to break down the testing barriers that exist for many excellent educators, and to give all teachers the individualized support that they need to be successful from day one. We support teacher candidates through their MTEL preparation and licensure journeys in a variety of ways, from self-paced coursework to 1:1 coaching, to workshops and study cohorts.
We partner with K-12 school districts, colleges, individual teachers, and organizations with similar missions and values to us. If any of these sound like you, book a free call below and we would love to talk about the ways we can work together.
