In helping hundreds of teacher candidates over the years to pass their MTELs, we’ve discovered the glaring inequities and critical gaps in traditional teacher preparation programs, specifically for those who speak English as a second language and identify as having a disability.  

It is our mission to break down the testing barriers that exist for many excellent educators, and to give all teachers the individualized support that they need to be successful from day one.  We support teacher candidates through their MTEL preparation and licensure journeys in a variety of ways, from self-paced coursework to 1:1 coaching, to workshops and study cohorts.  

We know that representation matters and we truly believe that it starts from the very beginning of an educator’s journey.  We are always looking to make a bigger impact with our work by partnering with likeminded organizations, or individuals who are looking to join our “Sponsor a Teacher Program.”
