Making the Grade Podcast Episode 46 | Season 3 Finale: Reflecting on Growth, Executive Function & What’s Next

As we wrap up Season 3 of Making the Grade, we’re taking a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate just how much has grown, shifted, and expanded over the past year.

What began as a podcast rooted in education has evolved into a much broader conversation about executive function skills as the foundation for success — not just in classrooms, but in workplaces and everyday life. This season marked a powerful expansion of our work, our reach, and our community.

Executive Function at the Center of Everything

Throughout Season 3, we explored executive function skills such as time management, motivation, emotional regulation, planning, and follow-through, offering practical, actionable “brain hacks” listeners could use right away.

Working with hundreds of educators and professionals across industries, we’ve learned something important:
👉 Most challenges aren’t about doing more — they’re about how we manage our energy, systems, and brains.

A Year of Major Milestones

🧠 This season marked the launch of major offerings, including:

  • Hack Your Brain: Rewire Your Routines for Success, our signature online course

  • Our first-ever Executive Function coaching cohort

  • Plans for four coaching cohorts in 2026, supporting professionals in real estate, law, travel, finance, education, and the nonprofit sector

The Making the Grade Project Continues to Grow

🎉 Over the past year, we’ve also:

  • Expanded Executive Function trainings into workplace learning & development

  • Created and renewed nine partnerships, including educator prep programs, professional organizations, and industry leaders

  • Welcomed a new instructor focused on EF support for children and teens

  • Began planning for 2026 podcast guests to include our own clients, sharing real-life executive function stories and growth

A Personal Note from the Hosts

💛 This season was also filled with personal growth. Georgia welcomed a new baby and took maternity leave, while Christine traveled internationally for the first time since becoming a parent — a reminder that balance, flexibility, and support matter at every stage of life.

With a growing community — now 3,685 new subscribers across social and email — we’re deeply grateful to every listener, learner, client, and partner who made Season 3 possible.

✨ Here’s to closing this season with pride — and stepping boldly into what’s next.
